İzmir Refugee Studies Network has published an information note titled "Policy and Implementation Suggestions for Refugee Individuals in the Period of Pandemic".
The information note emphasized that the situation of refugees should not be overlooked during the outbreak, while the rates of exposure of refugee individuals may spread the pandemic and increase the crisis.
To prevent this potential situation, it was proposed to review the health policy regarding refugees. During the COVID 19 pandemic, it was recommended to develop a global governance approach framework with the local and added that: "The access to health rights within the framework of human rights arising from international law should be strengthened, especially those who live in unhealthy conditions and have the risk of spreading the pandemic speed at the local/national and international level. İnclusive social, economic and health policies for refugees should be implemented. "
