Job Type: Project-Based Full-Time Expert with Fixed-Term Contract
Work Location: The primary location is the STGM Hatay Office. It is expected that there will be travel to other provinces for monitoring visits related to the 2nd Component sub-grant applications, and short-term work at the STGM Ankara office if needed.
Job Description
- Represent STGM in Hatay and be involved in the planned and implemented activities in the earthquake region.
- Visit project offices and applications in the earthquake region, establish and maintain close working relationships with grant beneficiaries beyond monitoring visits.
- Maintain communication with public institutions and local civic organizations at the local office level and be responsible for developing and implementing activities.
- Organize weekly/monthly coordination meetings at the local office and prepare reports for these meetings.
- Carry out and/or participate in field monitoring of grants under the 2nd Component.
- Provide technical support to grant beneficiaries in coordination with the grant expert.
- Support the control of information, documents, and documentation provided by grant beneficiaries through the STGM Management Information System (MIS).
- Assist in local capacity-building and networking efforts.
- Plan the usage process of the local office and be responsible for its operations.
- Prepare information requested by the STGM team and management related to the earthquake region, hold meetings with relevant institutions, and prepare reports.
- Be responsible for all daily support functions of the field office, including financial transactions, bookkeeping, coordinating necessary purchases with the head office, and preparing contracts for service procurement from third parties.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, social sciences, engineering, or natural sciences.
- At least 5 years of experience in the civil society sector.
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience in EU-funded and/or international organization projects.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience in disaster risk management is a strong reference.
- Ability to work in the challenging environment of earthquake-affected provinces.
- Strong networking and inter-institutional communication skills.

Work Location: The primary location is the STGM Hatay Office. It is expected that there will be travel to other provinces for monitoring visits related to the 2nd Component sub-grant applications, and short-term work at the STGM Ankara office if needed. Applications from professionals residing in Hatay are encouraged.
Job Description:
The Project Assistant will provide administrative support to the project team. They will be responsible for the documentation, development, and storage of project files, arranging travel and accommodation reservations, and scheduling appointments. The Project Assistant will also handle logistical arrangements for meetings, seminars, or other events, and provide administrative assistance. They will support the grant expert and finance expert in all stages of grant program implementation, including inputting and tracking entries in the Management Information System (MIS).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, social sciences, engineering, or natural sciences.
- At least 2 years of experience in the civil society sector.
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience in EU-funded and/or international organization projects.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience in disaster risk management.
- Ability to work in the challenging environment of earthquake-affected provinces.
