Ecological Literacy Training aims at increasing the environmental awareness of young people, raising their knowledge on the subject to a higher level, recognizing environmental problems and developing solutions to these problems. This training aims to contribute to the education of young environmentalists. It will discuss the proper use of the natural resources we have and ways to minimize the damage we do to the environment, and learn about the existence of an ecological life without harming the environment. It is also aimed that the trained instructors go to different cities in Turkey and conduct on-site studies to disseminate the program.

Session II: The Changing Planet
Who is an Ecological Literacy Trainer?
An Ecological Literacy Trainer is a person who teaches Ecological Literacy at the request of SİYAMDER Local Boards during their term.
Who can apply to become an Ecological Literacy Trainer?
- Be between the ages of 18-29,
- Who commit to volunteering with SİYAMDER for at least 1 year,
- Have knowledge of peer education and experiential learning methods,
- No travel restrictions
- Energetic people who tend to work in teams can apply for the Ecological Literacy Trainer Training.
The Ecological Literacy Trainer Training will be held in İzmir between November 25and 27. The cost of accommodation and food for the trainer candidates will be covered by the Association, while the transportation cost will be covered by the trainer candidates themselves.
The evaluations will be made within 1 week after the application deadline and interviews will be held with the candidates who are found suitable.
