During the monitoring meetings, national and international reports focusing on human rights in line with the project's thematic areas will be considered, and the information and data provided by the University Youth Human Rights Policy Monitoring Center (gencİZ - UYMC) of the project will be discussed with university student participants.
The agenda topics for the Monitoring Workshop, which will take place on November 11-12, 2023, aiming to create democratic spaces for young people through youth participation and empowerment, will also be decided during the meetings. As part of the meeting program, young participants will also have the opportunity to meet with relevant representatives of local CSOs involved in the project.
Application Requirements:
- Being a university student aged 18-25,
- Being a university student in Ankara, Diyarbakır, Istanbul, Izmir, Mardin, Mersin, or Samsun,
- Having an interest in topics such as human rights and discrimination,
- Having a high motivation to work on the thematic areas of the project, such as human rights monitoring and data-based advocacy.
* A special quota will be allocated for university students studying in Hatay, one of the project cities affected by the earthquakes on February 6, 2023, for each meeting.
No prior experience is required for participating in the meetings. The meetings are open to university students from all departments. Participants' lunch, morning, and afternoon refreshments during the meetings will be covered by the project budget.

To participate in the meeting in your city, you need to fill out the application form. Information about the meeting's location and program will be shared with accepted university student applicants.
Application evaluation results will be communicated via email no later than 3 to 5 working days before the specified meeting date. Please consider this when making your application.
