About the Program
The Section for Turkish-Swedish Cooperation at the Consulate General of Sweden in Istanbul was established by the Swedish Government in 2001. The task of the section is to support the reform process of Turkey in line with full membership to the European Union. The Section for Turkish-Swedish Cooperation contributes to social debates in Turkey on issues such as democracy, human rights, and gender equality. In this context, the Section for Turkish-Swedish Cooperation provides financial support to a certain number of projects each year.

Human rights, gender equality, democracy, pluralist civil society.
About Application
Academic, political, cultural institutions and organizations, state institutions and organizations, CSOs, associations, foundations and think tanks can apply for financial support. Individual applications and company applications are not accepted.
In order to be included in the evaluation process, the application form must be completed in English and all information requested must be submitted to the Consulate General in full. The guide and application form are available on the website.
In the project application, the area or areas of the project should be clearly stated. If the project is not in the priority areas mentioned above, prior information can be obtained by writing to the contact address before applying.
Applications are received within the scope of the calls published on the website. The project application budget should be arranged in Turkish Lira. Applications can be made by email and post.
