TUSEV 2010 Civil Society Evaluation Report

TUSEV published the 2010 Civil Society Evaluation Report, which deals with the state of civil society-public relations in Turkey, the legal framework, and the effects of non-governmental organizations on policy formation processes.

The information contained in the report is based on the views and experiences of TUSEV research projects, trustees, and expert teams. In this context, TUSEV benefited from the findings of the Civil Society Index Project (STEP), a comprehensive civil society needs analysis study conducted in 2009-2010, the survey study applied to the trustees of Turkey's leading associations and foundations, and its report identifying the obstacles to freedom of association.

It is hoped that the 2010 Progress Report, which monitors and evaluates the developments related to the EU accession process, will guide the relevant public and non-governmental organizations.
