This call for grants is for civil society organizations that are effective in the field and have been active for at least 5 years (with the status of association or foundation) and for transformative interventions in the field for a minimum of 18 and maximum 24 months.
Under this call, UN Women Turkey Office will partner with 4 civil society organizations in 3 areas. The areas where they recommend the development of transformative interventions for gender equality in the field will be as follows:
📌 Ending violence against women and girls (at least two CSOs)
📌 Economic empowerment of women (1 CSO)
📌 Gender-sensitive climate action and/or disaster risk reduction (1 CSO)
An information meeting on the call and the application process will be held on 26 December 2024 at 14.00.

In the coming months, a call for small grants will also be launched for capacity building of local civil society organizations. Small grant calls target civil society organizations that have been active for at least 3 years and are seeking funding for institutional capacity building.
