The "Research Report on Access to Fundamental Rights of Refugee Women in the COVID-19 Pandemic" prepared by the Association for Solidarity with Syrian Refugees in Izmir with the support of the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Association focuses on the problems that refugee women, and child refugees face during the pandemic process.

The research conducted over seven main headings; demographic information, employment status of refugees, awareness on the pandemic, ability of national institutions and organizations to benefit from pandemic aids, availability of pandemic assistance by local institutions and organizations, information regarding education and health were collected.

Within the scope of the project, while interviews with Syrian refugees between the ages of 18-60 in İzmir province were carried out, it is stated in the report that “mainstreaming gender equality” was taken into consideration during the research process, and using academic research questions that could measure and evaluate it, is paid attention. It is also emphasized in the report that especially women refugees are included in the scope of the research.
