In the report, the findings of a field study aiming to measure the knowledge and perceptions of 9th-grade female students studying in 40 Anatolian high schools in 20 provinces about science, technology, mathematics, and engineering (STEM) fields are examined and national and international policies in the field of STEM are evaluated. In the monitoring report, which aims to measure the perception and knowledge of girls about STEM fields and prepared with the support of Etkiniz, the gender-based inequalities in participation in STEM fields are also evaluated, while the policies of girls in STEM education and the Ministry of National Education are also discussed.
