The report contains the results of the workshop on the prevention of child, early and forced marriages for girls and young women with experience of raising under protection workshop, which took place on 2 and 3 December 2023 in Ankara with the participation of 21 institutions, as well as recommendations for the prevention of these marriages.

As a result of the workshop, the following reasons for early and forced marriages at a young age were mentioned: The lack of a supportive and healthy family structure, the process of returning to the biological family under state protection without sufficient support and the challenging conditions in which the child/young person finds him/herself. The consequences of early and forced marriage at a young age were domestic violence, psychosocial problems and alienation from social life, early pregnancy and motherhood, and vulnerability to risk.
