Youth Movement for Tobacco Control is looking for participants for ‘Youth Advocacy Group’

Within the scope of the Youth Movement for Tobacco Control Project, the Youth Advocacy Group, which will be established for young people to develop their advocacy skills and influence public policies, is looking for participants.

What is the Youth Advocacy Group?

The Youth Advocacy Group will be established to monitor the implementation of tobacco control policies, raise awareness and contribute to public policies. After participating in trainings on the subject, group members will carry out policy monitoring studies, prepare policy documents and strategy documents, organise campaigns and take active roles in a series of advocacy activities.

Who can apply?

Anyone in the 18-30 age group, whether a smoker or non-smoker, can apply to the Youth Advocacy Group.

What will be organised?

  • Webinars: Interactive sessions will be organised with experts on tobacco control, public health and advocacy.
  • Youth Advocacy Group activities: For 12 months, work on trainings, planning and campaign strategies will be carried out.
  • Policy Monitoring and Advocacy: Evaluation of the impact of tobacco control policies, data collection and awareness raising activities will be carried out.
