Municipal Equality Units Current Situation Analysis

It is to carry out studies on gender equality in the municipality, to take a closer look at the institutional structures of the equality units established to place gender equality within the administrative borders of the municipality, and to evaluate how well they can fulfill their functions. In particular, revealing the current status of these units, which were established in the last 10 years, will give us clues on how to pursue gender equality in municipalities. While doing this, the basic documents of the municipalities were examined within the framework of gender equality, and their services to the disadvantaged and vulnerable groups, especially women, children, disabled individuals, and elderly individuals, were examined.
