With digitalization, data has become more important than ever. Understanding social problems and coming up with solutions for them is becoming more possible by working with data. Moreover, data-based advocacy and lobbying activities can be very persuasive. At this point, it is increasingly important for those working in civil society to be data literate and to be able to work with data more effectively.
The face-to-face program on Data Visualization and Advocacy, which is covered in online content, puts into practice issues related to data literacy. The aim is to collect, clean, and organize data, work with open data, and apply data storytelling using different digital tools. With this program, it is planned to increase the basic data analysis and visualization skills of CSOs and to start using data in their work.
