Youth Job is Looking for a Communication Volunteer for the Cooperative Volunteering Program

Competencies

• Approving the principle and narrative in the call of the Youth Business Cooperative,
• To act in harmony with the task and direction of the Youth Cooperative,
• To show an egalitarian attitude that is sensitive to cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality, and age differences,
• To have a rights-based approach to development,
• To communicate openly and nonviolently with internal and external stakeholders, to be open to receiving and giving feedback,
• Be prone to horizontal governance, work without instruction, consultation and horizontal exchange of feedback, self-disciplined work

Expected experience and qualifications

• To have conducted or supported the communication activities of an organization before (max. 5 points)
• To have prepared a communication strategy for a similar institution or to have been involved in the preparation process (max. 5 points)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (max. 5 points)
• Experience in social media account management (max 5 points)

Expected gains

• Youth Business-Cooperative does not carry out this task within the scope of any project or contracted work. It plans to use the Cooperative's human resources to monitor the mission and execute the outputs.
• There are no financial resources allocated for this task. The task will be done by unpaid volunteer labor.
• The name of the volunteer will be included in the outputs to be produced and published.
• The volunteer will have the opportunity to work with organizations that have a high potential to have an impact on the ecosystem, such as social cooperatives and new generation cooperatives.
• The Youth Job Cooperative specifically invites candidates belonging to the target groups it works with to apply for this voluntary assignment.

• Resume of no more than 3 pages, preferably without photos.
• A letter of intent of at most 1 page, containing a maximum of 2 sentences for each of the 4 expectations specified in the "Expected experience and qualifications" heading.

*The time frame of the task will be determined together with the volunteer.
