You are invited to a safe space where you can come together in the Participation Circle Working Group, remember children's rights and share your daily experiences as children and youth!
The Participation Circle is a working group within ICHILD designed to strengthen the meaningful participation of children and youth. The Participation Circle working group cares about the diversity of experiences and acting on those experiences, using a process-oriented method rather than an outcome-oriented method.
The dates of the working groups are as follows:
- Working Group: Date: October - November - December 2022.
- Working Group: Date: January - February - March 2023
- Working Group: Date: April - May - June 2023
The objectives of the Participation Circle Working Group are;
- To remind society that children and youth are equal citizens and not represented individuals,
- Conduct a survey that incorporates the experiences of children and youth living in Ankara with children's participation,
- Include the meaningful participation of children and youth in the preparation process of ICHILD's strategic action plan,
- Contribute to the field of children's studies on children's rights and decentralization,
- Make visible the agenda of children and youth on children's rights through their own life experiences,
- Creating an agenda on the perception of childhood and children's rights in Ankara.

7 - 14 September 2022: Call process
14 - 16 September 2022: Evaluation process
17 September 2022: Acquaintance Meeting
Who is invited?
- Who are between 14 and 19 years old and live in Ankara,
- All children who can regularly participate in the studies are invited.
- The contingent of the working group of the participation circle is limited to a total of 15 people.
