The meeting, which aims to facilitate the access and use of digital technologies by older people and to develop solutions for the development of accessible digital products and services for older people, will take place in Izmir on March 9 and 10, 2024.
Program schedule
• Session 1: The state of digital rights of older people: This session will discuss the current state of digital rights of older people.
• Session 2: Digital literacy of older people: This session will discuss what needs to be done to increase the level of digital literacy of older people.
• Session 3: Accessible digital products and services for older people: This session will discuss what needs to be done to develop accessible digital products and services for older people.
• Session 4: Age discrimination in the digital space: This session will discuss what needs to be done to prevent age discrimination in the digital space.
• Concluding session: The decisions and recommendations of the meeting will be summarized.
Who can attend?
• Those who pursue a rights-based approach oriented towards the rights of older people,
• Who are interested in the topic of digital literacy and want to learn about the concepts,
• Who are motivated to disseminate and advocate the results of the meeting,
• People working directly or indirectly in the field of older people’s rights,
• People who are motivated to participate in the "Digital Rights Community for Older People", which is to be founded after the meeting, can apply for the program of the dialog meeting.
