During the summer period, the 'Would You Be My Student? Academy,' established under the Community Volunteers Foundation, will organize hobby workshops and classes both online and face-to-face for elementary and middle school students. The academy is looking for volunteers to participate in these activities.
Volunteer applications will close on July 15, 2023, Saturday.
The 'Would You Be My Student? Academy' aims to reach elementary and middle school students affected by educational inequality and provide them with support in their lessons and guidance.
What can volunteers do at the 'Would You Be My Student? Academy'?
- They can be project coordinators in the social media team.
- They can provide support for subject lessons or guidance in the LGS (High School Entrance Exam) camp for students who have moved on to the 8th grade.
- They can be instructors for hobby workshops for elementary and middle school children in Ankara, conducted face-to-face.
- They can be instructors in online hobby workshops for elementary and middle school children.
- 3-4th graders or recent graduates of PDR (Psychological Counseling and Guidance) or psychology departments can support with their ideas in writing the content of counseling sessions.
- They can write essays and articles to be published on the website.
- They can donate their books to support libraries.
- They can provide support in the earthquake zone through hobby workshops or the LGS camp.
- They can provide support to our students in the fall semester by making financial donations for the procurement of test books and stationery supplies, regardless of the amount.
