As part of the training program for young women who want to participate in local decision-making mechanisms, trainings and workshops will be organized in different areas that participants need in order to influence local decision-making mechanisms.
It is expected that a total of 40 young women participating in the Politics Academy under the project will attend the Women's Solidarity Network meetings that will be held regionally between February and June 2023, and will be involved in the one-to-one mentoring program in the areas needed by the young women who are the beneficiaries of the project.
The Women's Politics Academy will be held on November 18, 19 and 20 in Antalya, Alanya.
Criteria for application:
- Being a young woman between the ages of 18 and 30,
- Have the intention to participate in local decision-making processes,
- Have at least two years of volunteer or professional work in a political party, civil society organization, or city councils, or have a bachelor's or master's degree in political science or public administration.
- Attended one of the Women's Solidarity Network meetings held between February and June.
- Will be expected to participate in a mentoring program of a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 6 hours in areas of need.
The event will be conducted with an all-inclusive approach. Participants with special needs are expected to indicate their status on the participation form.
The participants' food and accommodation costs will be financed under the project, and transportation costs will be covered up to the limit of the project value.
