What is the Women in Tech Academy Project?
Funded by the European Union and supported by the Community Volunteers Foundation (Toplum Gönüllüleri Vakfı), the Women in Tech Academy Project seeks to engage 3rd and 4th year university students or recent university graduates between the ages of 20-28, who identify as women, participate in the software industry by contributing to their empowerment through training.
The Academy, which provides training and internship opportunities to prevent gender discrimination in the software industry and support women's participation in the industry workforce, will last 12 weeks. It will include a total of 15 hours, including 8 hours of Python training, 4 hours of hands-on sessions, 1 hour of mentor meetings, and 2 hours of supportive training.
