The foundations of the Ankara Mothers of Disabled Children and Volunteers Association were laid in 2020 with women who developed themselves in the field of civil society. The founders of the association, who are involved in disability studies, started their work by taking into account the violations of the rights of the disabled. The founders of the association, who talked about the problems of the disabled and their relatives, identified these problems, and most importantly, experienced these problems, started their work for the development of civil society, the empowerment of disadvantaged groups, and the development of effective and responsible individuals since the day it was founded in 2021.
