The "Localization Advocacy Group", which set out with the slogan of "on-site solution, local solution" in humanitarian aid, with the aim of bringing NGOs in Turkey together with a focus on localization, shared the data for 2021.
The Localization Advocacy Group, which took its first steps in 2020 with the initiative of the Support to Life Association, grew with the support of the Human Resources Development Foundation (İKGV) and the Civil Society Development Center (STGM) and reached 35 organizations.
As the Advocacy Group created the Decentralization Strategy and Minimum Standards Document in 2021, steps were taken to manage risks. In the new period, working groups on financing, capacity, partnerships and advocacy were also put into practice.
