We took part in the World Democracy Forum, which was also attended by lawyers who are members of the Lawyers Network and who had come together as part of the Monitoring of Freedom of Association Project.
The Forum, which took place in Strasbourg from November 6to 8, was held this year under the motto "Democracy=Peace?".
In November, we paid a second visit to Vienna. During our visit with lawyers who are members of the Lawyers' Network and public representatives, we met with representatives of the Office for Media Freedom of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights and the International Association of Democratic Lawyers which comprises many institutions related to law and human rights.
The Directorate for European Union Affairs, the Directorate General for Civil Society Relations of the Ministry of Interior, the Presidency of Strategy and Budget and the Grand National Assembly of Turkey took part in the working visit.
