Considering the negative effects of the COVID-19 epidemic and the deepening economic and social problems on young people, projects aiming to empower young people in 3 different thematic areas that directly concern young people will be supported in the We Are Flying to the Future Project. These areas are:
Protecting the Environment and Combating Climate Change: Young generations are expected to be greatly affected by the negative consequences of global climate change and environmental problems. In this context, projects that will inform young people, develop their life skills and strengthen their capacity to develop solutions for the problems in this field will be supported.
The well-being of Youth: Well-being is an approach that aims to be “good” in various fields such as financial situation, education, health, relationships, environmental conditions, and participation, and that aims to increase the capabilities of people with the help of determined indicators, which deals with the welfare and development of people holistically. Project ideas on the subjective well-being of young people in social rights areas such as life satisfaction, education, work, health, and housing will be supported under this title, with the perspective of youth well-being.
Digital Literacy and Digital Security: Under this heading, support will be provided to increase the digital competencies of young people, to develop their knowledge about being safe in the digital world, and to fight against digital violence.
CSOs who want to apply for the project must fill out the application form completely and send it by 15:00 on Monday, February 28, 2022.
