Civil Society Development Center (Sivil Toplum Geliştirme Merkezi Derneği - STGM) was founded in the year 2004 by a group of opinion leaders and activists who believed in the importance of civil society for the development of participatory democracy in our country.
Vision of STGM
The vision of the association is a strong and democratic civil society.
Mission of STGM
- Ensuring the development of participation and democracy in civil society, and strengthening organizational capacity and autonomy;
- Development of advocacy, campaign, research, training, and lobbying activities in its priority target areas in order to make the voice of civil society heard in decision-making processes.
