Green Thought Association archived Turkey's coal struggle in order to strengthen the collective memory of the anti-fossil fuel struggle in Turkey. The study aims to make the history of the struggle visible and preserve the memory of social movements by compiling the media coverage of coal power plant projects in Muğla, Çanakkale and Kahramanmaraş.
The study aims not only to record the past, but also to create a reference source for climate struggle and nature advocacy. This project, which feeds on the experiences of everyone who contributed to the anti-coal struggle in different regions of Turkey, will also shed light on future ecological movements.
