Which studies need volunteer support?
- Workshops
We need volunteer support for the workshops we will hold with children and women. We aim to support the well-being of children and women with sports and art-based workshops. We expect our volunteers to spend approximately 4 hours a week for the workshops.
- Library Meetings
We need our volunteers to keep our library open and to come together with children. We aim to support children with activities such as academic support, film and reading meetings. We expect our volunteers to spend 1 full day or half a day for library meetings.
What are the duties and responsibilities of a Tomurcuk Derneği volunteer?
- To regularly attend the workshops he/she volunteers in.
- Supporting the library to remain open.
- Working in harmony with the Tomurcuk Team.
- Filling out evaluation forms after the workshop.
- Participating in regular monthly meetings and trainings.
Who can apply?
- Anyone who commits to attending the entire orientation training,
- 18-35 years old,
- Residing in Hatay,
- Willing to work with children and women and wants to contribute to awareness and empowerment activities on discrimination, gender, and non-violent communication,
- Committing to fulfilling the duties and responsibilities listed above can apply.
How will the application process proceed?
Applications will end on October 28, 2024 at 23:59. Click for the application form.
An introductory meeting will be held with those who evaluate the application positively in the first stage, and then the definite feedback, whether positive or negative, will be sent via e-mail on October 30, 2024.
The orientation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 between 11:00-17:30 at the Tomurcuk Derneği.
During the evaluation phase; gender balance, motivation, perspective on the concept of rights, regular participation and experience criteria will be taken into account.
