The Fall School program, prepared with the participation of various academic disciplines for university students, postgraduates and recent graduates, focuses on the relationship between serious human rights violations and individual/social trauma and aims to develop human rights advocacy based on knowledge and intervention.
The Trauma and Human Rights Fall School program consists of a series of seminars and workshops conducted with the participation of advocates and academics from various disciplines who have been advocating for human rights for many years.
The language of the program is Turkish.
The program will be held in İzmir from October 2 to 8, 2022. During this period, participants are required to stay in the hotel where the event will be held and attend all seminars and workshops.
The cost of transportation and accommodation with full board (including all meals) of the participants will be covered by TIHV.
The contingent for the Trauma and Human Rights Fall School 2022 is limited to 20 people.
Conditions for registration
- 3rd and 4th year undergraduate students of four-year universities (5th and 6th year medical school students); young researchers pursuing their graduate education (Master's and PhD); and graduate students who have graduated in the last 5 years (2017 and later) are eligible to apply for the Fall School program.
- Applicants must be residents of Turkey.
- There is no restriction on academic field of study. The program is open to applicants from all academic disciplines.
