He studied Sociology and Public Administration at Middle East Technical University. He earned a maste's degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the same university. His involvement in civil society began after the 1999 Marmara earthquakes, leading him to work with various organizations. Starting in 2007, he served as a short-term expert on various projects at STGM. From 2012 to 2020, he played a pivotal role in establishing and leading the European Union Sivil Düşün Program. Progressing, between 2020 and 2023, he held the position of team leader in
the Civil Society Dialogue and Civil Society Support Programs under the Directorate for EU Affairs. Moving forward to 2023-2024, he assumed the role of Response Lead at the Oxfam Kedev Türkiye Earthquake Program. His current position since April 2024 involves working on the STGM Supporting the Capacity of Civil Society Organisations in Disaster Risk Management Project.
