In 1995, she graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Communication. She has been active in mainstream media organisations and mainstream digital broadcasting platforms for a total of 25 years. She has worked as a reporter, editor, producer, presenter, television programmer, internet broadcaster and radio broadcaster.
From 1999 to 2013, he mainly focused on civil society organisations and volunteerism in his broadcasting activities and made publications in this direction. During this period, she participated in the ‘broadcasting in the civic space’ training organised by Maastricht University.
Since 2005, she has been providing trainings and consultancy services to civil society organisations on ‘communication processes’. She has been continuing her studies and trainings in the field of nonviolent communication techniques and the processes of communication in human physiology since 2020. She has won various awards from the Association of Journalists of Turkey, the Federation of Journalists of Turkey and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) for her work in the field of broadcasting.
