Alaz Erdost

After graduating from Hacettepe University Department of Finance in 2003, she obtained her Certified Public Accountant license in 2009. Throughout her 20-year professional career, she gained extensive experience in finance across various organizations.

Following a lengthy period working in an accounting office, she transitioned her voluntary civil society support into a professional role at SGDD-ASAM, taking on administrative and financial responsibilities. Despite concentrating on financial matters, which are her main area of expertise, she has consistently focused on working with marginalized groups.

She also participated in several short-term international exchange programs related to migration. A founding member of the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (HRFT) Alaz Erdost is committed to maintaining her position as an advocate against discrimination and for human rights.

Although she had previously engaged with the Civil Society Development Center in various training programs as a guest, she has been working as a Contracting and Finance Specialist in the Supporting the Capacity of Civil Society Organizations (SCOs) in Disaster Risk Management Project at STGM since June 2024.
