What is the LGBTI+ Hotline?
The LGBTI+ Hotline, run by volunteer peer counselors who receive comprehensive orientation and regular supervision from SPoD, counsels LGBTI+ individuals on issues such as discrimination and violence based on gender identity and sexual orientation, sexual health and sexually transmitted infections, gender reassignment process, military exemption process and social service institutions. It also provides emotional support on issues such as the coming out process, peer bullying, family relations and relationship difficulties. Clients who apply to the LGBTI+ Hotline are directed to experts in SPoD's relevant fields of work on legal counseling, psychological support and social services in line with their needs and demands.
