The Checks and Balances Network (DDA) called on political parties and candidates to refrain from using words that polarize the society, that convey hatred, and that antagonize the other side during the election period.
"We demand an election campaign with promises, not insults," DDA said and launched a signature campaign on change.org.
In the campaign, it is emphasized that the method of politics that divides citizens also poses a danger to election security, "we demand that the candidates who will compete in the election stay away from discourses that polarize and antagonize the society; we demand that they carry out their propaganda with promises that produce concrete solutions to the concrete problems we face."
