SES Equality and Solidarity Association, which implements projects to ensure gender equality and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, is seeking a Project Manager for a full- or part-time position starting August 2022.
Job Description
- Communicate and coordinate with other relevant Association staff during the implementation of project activities
- Ensure coordination and follow-up of project activities, prepare revisions as needed
- Ensure that relationships with partner organizations are working smoothly and that required reports with expected content, format and timing are prepared and forwarded to relevant persons and institutions
- Track project budget items and ensure that necessary expenditures are made in accordance with the project's calendar of activities
- Conduct the necessary lobbying and advocacy activities along with the results of the project activities
- Prepare complete project reports and present them to partner organizations
- Participate in weekly team meetings; participate in other activities organized by the team as needed
- Prepare and participate in meetings, trainings, and reporting activities within and outside the Association as required in accordance with SES goals and policies
- Perform other duties as directed by Association leadership
Required qualifications of candidates
- Degree from a University
- At least 2 years of professional experience
- Fluency in writing and speaking English
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge of women's issues (preferred)
- Experience with civil society organizations (preferred)
- Able to work part-time or full-time schedule Compatible with flexible work schedules (hybrid, office work)
- Organizational skills
- Experience in stakeholder relations and communications
- Strong ability to use Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to coordinate team efforts
