The INFORSE Global Network consists of 140 NGOs working in 60 countries. The network was created to monitor and guarantee the implementation of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) decisions held in Rio de Janeiro in 1992; He has been working since that day.
INFORSE works actively to raise awareness in communities, monitors and influences the sustainable energy agenda in inter-country negotiations. INFORSE is recognized by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Membership is limited to independent non-profit non-governmental organizations that support INFORSE vision and mission. Members have the right to vote at regional meetings and have free access to the INFORSE newsletter "Sustainable Energy News".
