Inclusion Europe / Inclusion International (II) is a global federation of family-based organizations that advocate for the human rights of individuals with mental disabilities. II represents more than 200 member federations in 115 countries in five regions of the world (Middle East and North Africa, Europe, Africa and the Indian Ocean, America and Asia-Pacific).

Purposes and the Way of Work

The main objective of II is to create opportunities for people with mental disabilities and their families, to ensure equality and to encourage their inclusion in society.
To this end, II has been operating as a tool for disabled individuals and their families for more than 40 years to make their voices heard in society. Ensuring the participation of disabled people as neighbors and citizens who are respected in their own communities is a priority for Inclusion International and all members of the federation.

II carries out comprehensive projects on human rights, women's rights, rights of the children, disability rights, and supports initiatives to increase and develop the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities practices in various regions of the world, especially in developing countries and third world countries, reduce poverty, support and education of families and to ensure people with disabilities to advocate themselves. Worldwide communication, information sharing, joint organization and cooperation for people with disabilities are the fundamental working principles of II.

Membership and Membership Requirements

II has three types of membership categories, the membership categories were reorganized in 2012: Full membership, affiliate membership, individual membership.
