Established independently by youth organizations, the European Youth Forum consists of more than 90 national youth councils and international youth NGOs, a federation of youth organizations. It brings together 10 million young people organized to represent their common interests throughout Europe.

The European Youth Forum works for young people to actively participate in shaping Europe and the societies in which they live, and to empower them to improve the living conditions of young people as European citizens in today's world.

Membership Criteria

Independent NGOs established in Europe that meet the criteria specified in the European Youth Forum charter can participate in the European Youth Forum. There are three categories of membership (observer, candidate and full membership) within the European Youth Forum. There are different criteria for membership in each category.
