Founded in 2000, the association is a European network consists of more than 30 member organizations and individual members in EU countries. AEDH defends and promotes human rights in the European Union. AEDH is working for a democratic Europe that guarantees freedoms and rights of all without discrimination. It defends not only civic and political rights but also economic, social and cultural rights
