Purposes
CAN's aim is to ensure that the atmosphere is preserved while allowing for sustainable and equitable development worldwide. Since its establishment in 1989, CAN has been actively engaged in activities aimed at influencing decisions on regional and international negotiations, climate-related policies and measurements.
Membership Criteria
CAN's flexible structure creates an NGO forum that allows its members to come together and share information and views on climate change. Independent non-profit organizations that approve the CAN mission, actively work on global warming, and which are not for profit can become members of CAN.
