On 3 October 2024, an event called ‘ideathon4WomenLeader’ will be organised in Hatay to strengthen the participation of local women leaders in policy-making processes in Hatay and to support the preparation of strategic plans in a gender-sensitive manner. The aim of this event is to find innovative solutions for issues such as participation, employment, health, access to education and employment.

The event is open to female local council members, female mukhtars, entrepreneurs, civil society representatives, activists and women and supporters from all sectors of society who want to participate in the post-disaster reconstruction process in Hatay/Antakya.
* The programme is aimed at local female leaders and leadership candidates in Hatay and the surrounding provinces. The programme does not cover the costs of accommodation and transport for the participants.
