METAMAZON, Metastatic Breast Cancer Association was established in 2016 to improve the special conditions of metastatic breast cancer patients and solve their special problems. Breast Health Volunteers set out as a small team in 2014 to carry out studies on breast cancer. As of 2016, he has strengthened his place in civil society as a volunteer of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Association-Metamazon. Volunteers who call themselves Young Amazons work to raise awareness of breast cancer. It aims to raise awareness of young people about breast health and to take an active part in this field.
Young Amazons- Breast Health Volunteers, especially young people between the ages of 18-30, are actively working in the field by receiving breast health and awareness training. Breast health volunteers work and operate to increase public awareness of breast health.
Application details:
- Gender and experience balance will be taken into account when determining the volunteers,
- If they need it, volunteers, during their volunteering period can receive free training on subjects of Project Cycle Training, project implementation, volunteer management, risk management, etc. Therefore, the personal and professional development of the volunteers will be contributed in the process,
- Volunteers will be given a 'reference letter' by the METAMAZON Association.
