The Memory Center is seeking a team member to work on protection and support projects for the human rights defenders within the Human Rights Organization and its Defenders Support Program.
Job Description
- Support the Project Coordinator in the implementation of the project activities according to the given schedules;
- Collaborate with the project team in organizing the activities under the project, meeting logistical needs (organizing meetings, accommodation, etc.) and in the execution of all other processes;
- Assist the Project Coordinator with corporate correspondence and periodic reports to be prepared under the project;
- Assist the Project Coordinator in monitoring the project budget and schedule;
- Assist in the preparation of printed and online publications, announcements, etc. for the target audience within the scope of the project;
- Represent the Memory Center in networks and other common platforms related to the scope of work.
Qualifications
- Hold at least a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a discipline that supports civil society studies;
- Familiarity with the field of human rights and interest and knowledge of the fundamental values of human rights;
- Experience in civil society, advocacy, and/or activism as a volunteer or professional;
- Be inclined to work in a team and open to communication;
- Experience in project management and reporting;
- Experience and discipline in research, archiving, and data entry.
- Possess effective written and oral communication skills;
- Good command of the English language;
- No travel restrictions.
