Medya Araştırmaları Derneği (Media Research Association) is looking for a new colleague to work full-time to coordinate the international projects it develops and implements in the field of media and journalism, especially in the areas of training and research.
Basic tasks and Responsibilities
- Organize project activities such as training, research, meetings and conferences
- Participate in the preparation of project proposals and reports
- Participate in tracking budget expenditures and maintaining financial records
- Participate in project meetings
- Ensuring coordination between project teams
- Follow up on project activities
Required Qualities
- Proficiency in Turkish and English, both written and spoken,
- Residing in Istanbul
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (a degree in Media, Communications and Social Sciences is preferred)
- Knowledge and experience in budgeting and reporting
- Proficiency in MS office applications and basic online communication programs
- Advanced communication, coordination, organization and problem-solving skills
- Aptitude for domestic and international travel
- 2 years of experience preparing and implementing projects in the areas of media, human rights, and/or democracy
