The Mediterranean Youth Association (Akdeniz Gençlik Derneği) is establishing a "Digital Disaster Volunteer Coordination Team" to establish digital coordination in various areas, ensure collaboration, and confirm and disseminate information coming from the earthquake zones to various CSOs, public agencies, and volunteer teams on the ground.
The aim is to minimize the digital communication and coordination problem that will occur in the current disaster situation and after, and make the digital communication and coordination problem more resilient to disasters and emergencies together with the online volunteer team.
The only requirement for volunteers who wish to apply is that they be 18 years old and have experience using digital tools.
