The aim of the Local Grant Program (GGP) within the scope of Japan's Official Development Assistance (ODA) is to provide financial assistance for development projects designed to meet basic human needs. This call is open for project applications planned in 2024 and to be implemented in 2026. (The application period for projects to be implemented in 2025 ended in January 2024.)
Civil society organizations and municipalities will be able to apply to this call. Applicants must be non-profit organizations with the capacity to implement and sustain development projects at the local level. Project applications from all regions of Turkey will be accepted, although priority may be given to the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions.
Applications must be sent by post or courier to reach the Japanese Embassy by 17:30 on December 27, 2024.
