The second module of the program, the first module of which was for participants from the provinces of Southeastern Anatolia and the sub-regions of Hatay and Adana, will be for the Aegean and Central Anatolian regions. The Local Advocacy School for Refugee Rights is organized in partnership with Bahçeşehir University Migration and Urban Studies (BAUMUS). It is supported by the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Association Turkey Representative.
This program, which is aimed at civil society organizations and activists who work or want to work on the rights of immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers, and who want to develop cooperation with local governments on this issue, consists of two stages. The first phase, which will take place on 10, 12, 17, 19 August 2021, is a capacity building training consisting of 4 courses and a total of 12 hours. In the second phase of the program, which will take place in the autumn months, mentoring support will be provided to the participating individuals and organizations, and the work to be carried out with local governments will be followed.
This module of the program is only for participants from 21 provinces in the Aegean and Central Anatolian regions. The list of accepted provinces is included in the application form.
