TASK DESCRIPTION
- Service mapping or updating of existing maps in Mardin and Diyarbakır provinces,
- Creating the work plans of the project team,
- Working in coordination with colleagues involved in project management, sharing information when deemed necessary,
- Taking protective and preventive measures to reduce risk factors in the work area,
- To support and monitor the field team's fieldwork,
- To provide the necessary organization and support during the preparation of the activity plans of the project team,
- To follow up the work of the team in the project and evaluate their weekly reports,
- To follow up the weekly and monthly monitoring reports from the project team,
- Ensuring that clients who come to the association for service receive accurate and necessary information on time,
- Creation of guidelines and tools for the implementation of all case and fieldwork activities under the conservation program,
- To ensure that the employees providing services within the scope of the project benefit from the necessary training services to develop and strengthen their capacities,
- Preparing the strategies of protection and workshop training in the dimension of social work to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable and at-risk individuals and communities,
- Ensuring coordination, morale, and motivation among the units in the project carried out,
- Preparing weekly and monthly progress reports in the desired format, writing them in Turkish and English, and sending them to the relevant units,
- Ensuring cooperation with the necessary institutions, organizations, and communities,
- To be in contact with partner and donor organizations,
- Participating in relevant coordination meetings and sharing with the teams,
- Organizing meetings for inter-field experience sharing and coordination,
- Ensuring the fulfillment of other duties assigned by the Project Manager and Project Coordinator,
- To ensure that all activities implemented within the scope of the project are planned and implemented in accordance with the LKD Gender Equality Policy.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Graduated from related departments of undergraduate programs of the university.
- Very good knowledge of Turkish and English
- Preferably fluent in Arabic and/or Kurdish,
- Having worked in the civil society sector for at least three (3) years,
- Experience in working with International Donors/institutions and organizations,
- Having worked with refugees and in the field of protection,
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel,
- Preferably knowing the provinces of Mardin and Diyarbakir,
- Able to adapt to the variable working hours required by the position,
- Giving importance to the rights of the beneficiaries and confidentiality,
- Successful in job follow-up and conclusion,
- Advanced time management-planning competence,
- Being able to produce solutions and be productive in times of crisis and stressful situations,
- Having a perspective of protection and empowerment on gender equality and vulnerable groups,
- Recognizing that everyone under the age of 18 is a child and should be protected,
- Able to establish relationships with people from different cultures impartially and without discrimination,
- When faced with conflicts and problems, it is preferred to have features that are calm, positive, and able to produce quick solutions.

Arabic Translator
BASIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
As part of the fieldwork activities carried out for Syrian women and children who have immigrated to the region with temporary protection status, and women and children in the local community, dialogues and correspondence between our Arabic or Kurdish-speaking clients and field workers will be translated.
He will take part in translation works between face-to-face oral communications and phone calls.
This position will work in Diyarbakır province and its districts (including rural areas) under the Office of the Leader Women's Association in Diyarbakır.
The team member who will work in this position will take responsibility for the work and duties listed below, depending on the office manager of the institution;
- Entering data into the information management system used in case of need and demand,
- Will act as a consecutive interpreter in face-to-face or telephone interviews with Syrian clients who come to our association who speak Arabic and Kurdish,
- Will accompany field workers working in the association in the training and collective information activities to be carried out for the Syrian communities in Diyarbakır province and its districts as a translator,
- Translating various personal documents of Syrian clients under temporary protection status,
- To make the oral or written translation of letters and documents in Arabic that reach the association via e-mail or telephone,
- To carry out other works and duties to be determined by the relevant superior responsible for the translation into Arabic or Kurdish,
- Will participate in the working processes in coordination with the relevant departments so that the activities can proceed under the principles, policies, and procedures of the institution.
