The students who want to protest the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are interposed by police force in 4th December 2010, while Erdoğan was in the meeting with university rectors.
According to the UN Protect from Cruelty Agreement, the practice of police force is clearly seen as “cruelty”. With the definition of UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the force has no explanation, rather it is cruelty. Turkey Human Rights Foundation and Human Rights Association added that even it is not reflected to national media, the action of cruelty maintains and the last event is not first one. According to their data, in 2010, a wide range of people suffered from the unethical situation, 2 people died, and 69 of them are injured.
It is demanded that the responsible people from the cruelty should be judged, Police Commissioner Hüseyin Çapkın should be removed from his positions, and the political responsible Interior Minister should have a direct interest with the topic.
