Foodback, which carries out knowledge sharing and capacity building activities in the agriculture and food sector, has started to receive applications for the Food Solutions ‘Waste-to-Value’ Training Programme. This 7-month, international and completely free of charge programme is designed for undergraduate, graduate and PhD students with ideas to transform food waste into valuable biomaterials.
At the Demo Day event at the end of the programme, the most successful teams will have the chance to win a total of 3,000 euro prize.
A limited number of scholarship students are accepted to the training programme. Scholarship students will benefit from the programme completely free of charge.
Who can participate?
- This programme is aimed at students who have a business idea at the start-up stage and want to develop a prototype. Undergraduate, graduate or PhD students in food engineering, agricultural engineering, nutrition and dietetics, economics, business administration and other related departments can apply to the programme.
- Priority will be given to those who have at least B1-B2 level of English.
- It is possible to apply individually or with a team of 4-7 people.
