Arayüz Campaign started to receive applications for the "Supporting Young Candidates in Local Governments Program" with the aim of increasing the participation of young people in local governments for the 2024 Local Elections. Young people between the ages of 18-30 who want to be a City Council Member and are interested in participating in local governments can apply to the program.
The program will last for 3 months, November, December and January, and 100 young people who want to be a municipal council member will be able to participate.
In the program, a total of 7 trainings will be held on 5 different themes: Political Communication and Campaigning, Urban Policies and Policy Making, Legislation in Local Governments, Fieldwork and Data Analysis and Survey. All young people between the ages of 18-30 living in Istanbul who are interested and willing to participate in local governments and who want to become a municipal council member can participate in the program.
