The duties and responsibilities of the evaluation specialists are as follows;
- Participate in an online training organized by HM explaining the application and evaluation mechanism.
- Evaluate the applications to be submitted through the online system according to the schedule given to them.
- Evaluation of the applications.
- Writing a justification report through the system for each application.
Scope of work
- Participate in a 2-day online training session to be held on days to be determined by HM.
- Conduct the process in accordance with these principles by signing the impartiality and confidentiality document prepared by HM.
- Evaluating the applications in accordance with the evaluation criteria and conditions set forth in the Application Guide.
- Completing the evaluation grids prepared by HM.
- The preparation of justification reports for each application through the online system.
- Completing the checklists provided by HM.
- Presenting the evaluation results and reports to the Selection Committee to determine the main list of CSOs to be supported under the program.
- Completing the process in accordance with the evaluation timeline established by HM.

Methodology
The Evaluation Specialist will work in accordance with the job description, work plan, and schedule established by HM within the following framework.
- The Evaluation Specialist will collaborate with the Evaluation Committee.
- Using the methodology established for the evaluation process, he/she will work in accordance with the documents and guide prepared by HM.
Time of Assignment
The term of the appraisal contract is 4 months between 07/01/2022 and 10/31/2022.
Place of Assignment
Training and evaluation sessions will be held via online meetings. Applications for the position will be accepted from outside Istanbul. Evaluators may use the office of HM as needed, but will use their own computers and other necessary equipment as part of the assignment.
Required Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree in another discipline that is the basis for civil society studies.
- Experience in project evaluation (preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in the civil society field (preferably advocacy-based) as a researcher, consultant, activist, volunteer, employee, manager, etc.

Selection Procedure for Applicants
After the evaluation of the applications, a face-to-face interview will be conducted with the shortlisted applicants or, if the applicant is from outside Istanbul, an online interview will be conducted, and a fixed-term service contract will be signed with the selected applicants.
Payment method and Schedule
The total amount set for the consulting contract will be paid at the end of the evaluation process.
